At Hollywater, we feel that it is of the upmost importance that all pupils develop their communication skills in whatever way they can. Hollywater is a Total Communication Environment, this means that we use a wide variety of methods to develop and support pupils communication. These include:

There is a Communication and Interaction Lead, who ensure that communication strategies are implemented across the school, that staff receive the training they need for individual pupils and liaise with the Speech and Language therapist as well as manage the Speech and Language assistant in school.
